Welcome to HexLoops. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of HexLoops.com and your purchase, download, licensing, and use of our royalty-free sounds, loops, one-shots, sample packs, and related digital resources.

By accessing this website, creating an account, buying credits, unlocking a sound, downloading a product, or using a HexLoops sound in any project, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Company Information

HexLoops is operated by HEXPRO MEDIA SRL. Within these Terms, the names HexLoops, we, us, and our refer to HEXPRO MEDIA SRL. The terms user, customer, producer, you, and your refer to any person or legal entity accessing the website, buying credits, creating an account, or downloading a HexLoops product.

2. Products and Digital Delivery

HexLoops sells and distributes original, royalty-free digital audio content, including loops, one-shots, drum kits, sample packs, and related sound resources, delivered as studio-quality WAV files.

All products are delivered electronically. No physical item will ever be shipped. HexLoops does not operate on a subscription model: there is no monthly billing, no recurring charge, and no auto-renewal.

You buy credits once, and those credits remain available in your account to unlock the sounds you choose, when you choose them.

After a successful purchase or a free unlock, you may receive access to:

  • Downloadable WAV files for the sounds or packs you unlocked
  • An order confirmation email
  • A permanent entry in your “My Sounds” library, available from your customer account
  • Redownload access to previously unlocked sounds

You are responsible for providing a valid email address, maintaining access to your customer account, downloading your unlocked sounds, and keeping your own backup copies of any files you intend to use in future projects.

HexLoops may update, replace, remaster, retag, or discontinue a sound, a sample pack, or a download package at any time, including for catalog-quality, licensing, or legal reasons.

3. Credits, Orders, and Payment

HexLoops uses a prepaid-credit model. You purchase a credit package once and use those credits to unlock individual sounds or packs whenever you like. There is no subscription, no membership fee, and no recurring payment of any kind.

Credit package sizes and prices are displayed on the Buy Credits page and at checkout. HexLoops may change credit package pricing, the number of credits included in a package, promotional offers, or bonus-credit amounts at any time. Such changes will not affect credit packages you have already purchased.

Unless a credit package expressly states otherwise at the time of purchase, purchased credits do not expire and remain available in your account until used.

Where applicable, taxes such as value-added tax may be calculated, collected, or handled according to your billing location, tax status, applicable tax rules, and the information you provide during checkout.

Payments are processed through the payment methods displayed at checkout. An order is considered complete once payment has been successfully processed and credits have been added to your account, or the unlocked sound has been made available for download.

You must provide complete and accurate billing, account, and payment information. HexLoops is not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect email addresses, incomplete billing information, payment-provider restrictions, or account-access problems outside our control.

HexLoops may cancel, refuse, place on hold, or manually review an order or a credit purchase where there is reasonable suspicion of:

  • Fraud or unauthorized payment activity
  • Payment errors or chargeback abuse
  • Incorrect or misleading customer information
  • Credit-sharing, resale, or other abuse of the credit system
  • Violation of these Terms and Conditions

4. Licenses and Usage Rights

HexLoops sounds are licensed for use, not sold as intellectual property. Unlocking or downloading a sound does not transfer ownership of the underlying audio recording, sound design, branding, artwork, or other intellectual property associated with that sound.

When you unlock a HexLoops sound, loop, one-shot, or sample pack with credits (or download a free sound), you receive a broad, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use that sound in your own original music productions, including commercial and non-commercial releases, streaming, sync, live performance, and other finished works, without paying any further royalty or per-use fee to HexLoops.

Unless a product page expressly permits it, you must not:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense a HexLoops sound, loop, one-shot, or sample pack as a standalone audio file, whether unedited or lightly edited
  • Repackage HexLoops sounds into a competing sample pack, loop library, sound kit, or plugin, whether free or paid
  • Upload unmodified or minimally modified HexLoops sounds to another sample marketplace, stock-audio library, NFT platform, or AI-training dataset
  • Claim authorship or exclusive ownership of the original sound design
  • Share private download links or account credentials so that others can access sounds without their own credits
  • Represent a HexLoops sound as content created or owned by someone other than HexLoops

Using a HexLoops sound as one musical element within your own original track, beat, score, or sound design work – where the sound is combined with other elements and is not the primary standalone deliverable – is permitted and is the intended use of the license.

Unauthorized redistribution, resale, or credit-sharing may result in the suspension or termination of your account, download access, and any remaining credit balance.

5. Downloads and Your Sound Library

Every sound you unlock with credits, or download for free, is saved permanently to the “My Sounds” library in your customer account. You may redownload any previously unlocked sound at any time, for as long as your account remains active and HexLoops continues to make the file available.

Credits are deducted at the moment a sound is unlocked, not each time it is subsequently redownloaded. Redownloading a sound you have already unlocked does not consume additional credits.

If HexLoops needs to remove, replace, or remaster a sound you have previously unlocked, we will make reasonable efforts to keep an equivalent file available in your library or to offer a suitable alternative.

6. Free Sounds

HexLoops may offer selected loops, one-shots, and sample packs free of charge, without requiring credits. Free sounds are governed by the same license terms described in Section 4, unless a specific free product page states otherwise.

HexLoops does not guarantee that any specific free sound will remain available indefinitely, and free sounds may be rotated, retired, or replaced at HexLoops’ discretion.

Access to certain free sounds may require creating a customer account.

7. Customer Accounts

A customer account is required to purchase credits, unlock sounds, and access your download library. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. HexLoops may suspend or close an account associated with fraud, credit abuse, unauthorized redistribution, or other violations of these Terms.

8. Customer Support

HexLoops provides customer support for account issues, order and payment questions, credit balance questions, download problems, and licensing questions related to HexLoops sounds.

HexLoops aims to respond within a reasonable business timeframe. Response times may vary depending on the complexity of the request, support volume, weekends, and public holidays. HexLoops does not guarantee immediate, same-day, or continuous 24-hour support unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.

Standard support does not include music production lessons, mixing or mastering services, custom sound design requests, or troubleshooting of your digital audio workstation, hardware, or third-party software.

9. File Formats and Technical Requirements

HexLoops sounds are delivered as studio-quality WAV files. Product pages may include additional technical details such as key, BPM, and instrument or sound type where applicable.

Every sound can be previewed with the built-in audition player before you spend credits to unlock it. You are responsible for confirming that a sound fits your project, your digital audio workstation, and your hardware before unlocking it, using the preview player and any information provided on the product page.

You are responsible for keeping your own backup copies of downloaded sounds you intend to reuse in future projects. HexLoops is not responsible for loss of downloaded files caused by issues on your own device, storage, or hosting.

10. Refunds and Digital Content

Refund requests are governed by the separate Refund Policy, which forms part of the purchasing terms for HexLoops digital products.

Because HexLoops sounds are supplied digitally and are available for instant preview before purchase, refund eligibility may depend on:

  • Whether the sound has already been unlocked or downloaded
  • Whether credits used to unlock a sound have already been consumed
  • The nature of the reported issue (for example, a corrupted file or a duplicate charge)
  • Whether HexLoops has received a reasonable opportunity to investigate the issue
  • Whether the required checkout consent regarding immediate digital delivery has been provided

Consumers located in the European Union generally have a 14-day withdrawal right for distance contracts. However, the right of withdrawal for digital content may be lost once performance begins, where the consumer has provided prior express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged the loss of the withdrawal right — for example, by unlocking and downloading a sound.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be waived, including statutory remedies for digital content that does not conform to the contract.

A refund of a credit purchase does not permit continued use, redistribution, or retention of any sounds unlocked using those credits. Where a refund is approved, access to the associated sounds may be removed from your library.

11. Intellectual Property

HexLoops logos, branding, website design, product names, product pages, artwork, marketing materials, and the original sound recordings in the HexLoops catalog remain the property of HexLoops or its licensors.

You may not claim that you created a HexLoops sound, misrepresent its authorship, remove or alter any required attribution or copyright notice where applicable, or use HexLoops branding in a manner that creates confusion regarding ownership, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation.

12. Prohibited Use

You may not use HexLoops.com, a customer account, a credit balance, a download service, or a HexLoops sound to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Distribute malware, malicious code, or harmful files
  • Circumvent credit, download, or access controls
  • Attempt unauthorized access to servers, systems, accounts, or customer information
  • Interfere with website security, performance, or availability
  • Abuse promotions, discounts, refunds, free sounds, credits, or support channels
  • Resell or redistribute HexLoops sounds or credits without permission
  • Use fraudulent payment information
  • Conduct automated scraping, extraction, or attacks against the HexLoops catalog or systems
  • Impersonate HexLoops, its representatives, or another customer

HexLoops may suspend or terminate access to downloads, accounts, credit balances, or support where these Terms are violated or where access creates a security, legal, or operational risk.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HexLoops is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from:

  • The use of or inability to use a HexLoops sound
  • Website downtime or service interruption
  • Compatibility issues with your digital audio workstation, hardware, or third-party software
  • Loss of downloaded files due to your own device, storage, or hosting
  • Loss of data, revenue, profits, business opportunities, or goodwill

You remain responsible for evaluating whether a sound meets your creative, technical, and legal requirements before using it in a released project.

Where liability cannot be legally excluded, HexLoops’ total liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted under applicable law.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, personal injury, mandatory consumer protections, or any other liability that applicable law does not allow HexLoops to exclude.

14. Privacy

Your use of HexLoops.com is also governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Cookie Policy.

These documents explain how HexLoops collects, uses, stores, and protects information related to:

  • Customer accounts
  • Orders, credit purchases, and payments
  • Support communications
  • Your download and unlock history
  • Website usage, analytics, and cookies
  • Security and fraud prevention

By using the website, you acknowledge that certain information may be processed where necessary to provide products, fulfil orders, manage your credit balance and download library, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

15. Changes to These Terms

HexLoops may update these Terms when necessary to reflect:

  • Changes to products, credits, or the catalog
  • New licensing arrangements
  • Legal or regulatory requirements
  • Payment, tax, or operational changes
  • Security improvements
  • Website or customer-account changes

The current version will be published on this page together with the latest revision date.

Changes will apply from the date stated on the updated page. Changes will not retroactively remove mandatory rights or alter completed transactions where applicable law does not permit such changes.

16. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Romania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply under the laws of the customer’s country of residence.

Where a dispute cannot be resolved through direct communication, the parties may use the courts or competent alternative dispute-resolution bodies available under applicable law.

Consumers residing in the European Union may also have access to national consumer-protection authorities and other legally recognised dispute-resolution mechanisms.
